Lessons & Pricing
Private piano and voice lessons, online via Zoom or in person at the Canyon Hills studio. Most instruments welcome.
Credited toward your first month when you enroll.
The most popular choice — weekly lessons work out to $220/month.
Adaptive lessons, same tuition. Lorilee offers adaptive lessons for students with disabilities — all ages — at the same tuition as standard lessons. Specialized teaching is never a surcharge here.
How tuition works
- Flat monthly tuition on autopay. One predictable payment on the 1st of each month — no invoices to remember, no checks to write.
- Tuition reserves your weekly slot. It's a standing place in Lorilee's week, not a punch card — months with four or five lessons average out.
- 24-hour cancellation policy, with one makeup lesson per month.
- Prepay a term, save 5%. Pay four months up front and take 5% off the whole term. If Lorilee can't teach a prepaid lesson, it's made up or credited — never lost.
- Refer a family, get a free lesson. When someone you refer enrolls, your next lesson is on the house. There's no limit.
Questions parents ask
How much do lessons cost?
Online lessons start at $40 for 30 minutes, and most families choose 45 minutes at $55. In person at the Canyon Hills studio is $80 for a full hour. The complete price list is right above.
How does the trial lesson work?
The trial is 30 minutes for $20, online or in person. When you enroll, that $20 is credited toward your first month. It's a relaxed chance to meet Lorilee and try the format — no commitment.
How do online lessons actually work?
They're live, one-on-one over Zoom. Lorilee founded Voce Virtuo, an international virtual choir, so teaching online is a craft she has mastered — not a workaround. Students join from anywhere.
Do you teach students with disabilities?
Yes. Lorilee offers adaptive lessons for all ages and is one of very few credentialed adaptive teachers in the region. Adaptive lessons are the same tuition as standard lessons — it's a policy, never a surcharge.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
There's a 24-hour cancellation policy and one makeup lesson per month. Your tuition reserves a standing weekly slot, so months with four or five lessons simply average out. And if Lorilee ever has to cancel, that lesson is made up or credited — it never counts against your makeup.
How does billing work?
Flat monthly tuition on autopay, charged on the 1st of each month, in advance. Weekly 45-minute lessons work out to $220/month. There are no invoices to remember.
Can we pay for several months at once?
Yes. Prepay a full term — four months — and you take 5% off the whole term, in one payment instead of four. Monthly autopay stays the default, and either way your weekly slot is reserved the same way.
What ages and instruments do you teach?
All ages, from four-year-olds to returning adults. Lorilee teaches piano and voice primarily, with most instruments welcome — in person in Canyon Hills near Canyon Lake (convenient to Wildomar, Murrieta, Menifee, and Temecula) or online worldwide.
